Small Tether Tug Dog Toy

For our smallest furry friends!  The small/puppy Tether Tug is recommended for dogs under 15 lbs and includes a fleece attachment that is easier on smaller mouths. Great for dogs like Chihuahuas, Yorkie, smaller terriers, and other energetic pups!

How the Puppy Mini Tug works

 Designed to provide much needed exercise for dogs under 15 pounds, the Puppy Mini Tug has a softer braided fleece toy at the end of it that small dogs’ jaws can handle better than the thick knotted rope on the bigger Tether Tugs. The braided fleece also hangs lower to the ground so that miniatures and puppies can easily grab it and shake and tug to their heart’s content.

An in-ground base supports the flexible bending pole to which the rope and fleece are attached. Small breeds, many of whom can be hyper-active and anxious (and occasionally pesky) when they do not get sufficient exercise, love this wonderful outdoor dog toy. Puppies, who are energy-filled little bundles of joy, strengthen their little bodies as they wear themselves out playing with the Puppy Mini Tug designed just for their delicate teeth and jaws.

Medium Tether Tug Dog Toy

The Medium Tether Tug is designed for pups that are smaller in stature, but not in energy!  We recommend this size for dogs between 16-30lbs, as this pole will have plenty of bend and give for most pups.  However, if you have a super strong puller in this weight range, we recommend stepping up to the large size.  You know your dog, the crazier they are, they larger size you will need!

Dogs in this weight range include: American Eskimo, Basenji, Beagle, Cardigan Welsh Corgi, Cocker Spaniel, English Cocker Spaniel, Kerry Blue terrier, Miniature Bull Terrier, German Pinscher, Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Shelties, the smaller Shiba Inu, and Portuguese Water Dog. Corgis are so strong that many prefer a larger size Tether Tug.

We promise both you and your dog will have hours of fun with the Medium Tether Tug. Your dog will wear himself out exercising and you may even wear yourself out laughing at his antics while he plays.

Large Tether Tug Dog Toy

The Large Tether Tug hits the popular size of 30-60lb dogs, including most herding dogs, retrievers, beagles, and although smaller, we recommend the large for most Corgi’s (man those little guys are stout!).

The Large Tether Tug is the answer to the dilemma of how to get your dog more exercise and save your pitching arm at the same time. With its base that tamps down into the ground, its flexible pole that fits securely into the base, and its knotted rope, your dog will not even miss your being on the other end of the tug-of-war as he cavorts all around your yard shaking and growling at the knotted rope.

Even the stronger small dogs like Corgis love the Large Tether Tug, and Border Collies cannot seem to get enough of it. Some other breeds that fit in this weight category and enjoy the Large Tether Tug are: American English Coonhound, Basset Hound, Bull terrier, Bulldog, Chow Chow, Dalmatian, English Springer Spaniel, Siberian Husky, and the Samoyed.
